OT - BH

I've just listened to BH while walking round the park to take
advantage of the sunshine, much forecast and finally arrived. Every
day they said sun tomorrow but when tomorrow came and there was no sun
the BBC weather website changed the forecast. Obviously they look out
of the window to predict.
The last ten minutes of BH were amusing and reassuring; three eighty
year-olds discussing the papers. They produced their thoughts very
slowly and were clearly having to struggle to keep track of what they
intended to say. The reassuring bit was they were worse than I am :)
Nickerless was actually the best, and I've always thought he was
senile, but actually when it came to it they all sounded pretty
sensible, you just had to be patient to hear it.
The last bit of the walk was round the ponds, where I saw a duck
family grouping. I'm pretty sure the brown ones are female and the
green and white,brightly-coloured ones are male, n'est-ce-pas? Well,
this group was one female and five males looking after seven very tiny
ducklings.
I wonder if it's like the dolphin groups I saw on tv a couple of days
ago. The dolphins trap a female and keep her as a sex toy. But
sometimes females allow many males to have sex with her because then
this protexts any baby, as they all refrain from harming it in case
it's theirs. Maybe the duck did the same thing.
