I used to work for their french site - sending emails in french to
annoyed customers. It was terrible because all you did all day was cut
and paste 'blurbs' together in order to come up with an amazonspeak
email for them. One of the funniest times was when French people from
Africa would email in asking if they could pay in cash - "Oh yes", was
the reply "All you have to do is come in person to Paris and pay at our
head office". I loved sending that ridiculous one out! Unsurprisingly ,
the company in Belfast I worked for soon lost the Amazon contract.
