We are allowed to take our own BP using a new toy they have at the
surgery. You just go in, tell them you're there, then sit down and
worry about it for ten minutes while all the phones go, people rush
back and forth and the children in the play corner throw bricks at
you. Then when you're nicely worked up you can use the machine and
give them the ticket it's printed out.
