What are they then? Mammograms (every three years) are done in a
mobile unit that comes to my local hospital - I rather doubt they
have equipment to check blood pressure. Smears (also every three
years) done at GP's surgery by a nurse - the appointment is
specifically for that, although I am sure they'd take your blood
pressure if you asked, but why would you ask if you didn't know you
had a problem? I have no other reason to visit a doctor.
