Martin when I mentioned file sharing it is the ability to access files and
programmes between computers, Blocking sharing to all but a few folders,
giving access to certain folders which can be made available with password
access. Just makes it a bit more secure. and protects sensitive data from
prying eyes
The other file sharing is programmes that allow you to share music and films
with all your friends on the world wide web, but we know that is a we bit
naughty (cough).

I find most people just want a wireless network to share Internet access,
apart from the wirelss security if they are sharing using a wireless router
then the security can be set to resist access from trojans, probes and other
nefarious acts!! It's a jungle out there.....

A friend of mine has to be very carefull when he switches on his laptop that
he doesn't
access his neighbours wireless network instead of his. He was looking for
a file and wondered why it was taking so long to search, found he was also
searching his neighbours network of 4 computers as well as his no security
at all :~(
