Is there a Jill in the house?
I've pressed several gallons of apple juice and frozen it but the
problem is that the freezer is full and there's more to do so I;m
wondering whether I could pasteurize it. I've Googled and got the
basics but as always the sites are confusng and contradictory, Some
say 160 deg. for six minutes, some 170 etc. Some say keep refrigerated
afterwards. Some say not. The 'fridge would soon be full anyway. Has
anyone tried it or have any suggestions?

This may or may not be relevant. I've no experience of juices but I'm picking blackberriers right now...

They're good curried if you remove the stained fingers first. .

Being a tightwad, and not wanting to put a $40 thermostat in a $10 freezer, I hooked up a light timer to it, did some tinkering with the intervals for a week or so, and figured that if I had it come on at 2PM for 1/2 an hour every day, that'd keep my temp between 35F and 45F. ...
