Actually, after having just posted about the lawfulness or not of an electric
fence on an allotment, I should add that I agree with Fenny that it is no real
danger - provided it is a proper agricultural-type EF and not some crazy
shotgun-toting allotmentist who has just plugged some wire into the mains. As
children we would play in field with EFs and the occasional jolts did us no harm
- and we learned pretty quickly not to touch them either!
