Film Music

Ok, here's a toughie that I hope someone can help with. Music from a film.
I think the film is the Exorcist 3. Its the sequence where the detective is
dreaming he's in a hospital full of angels and people - a sort of waystation
before departing for heaven. At one point there is a Glenn Miller type band
playing something. That's the something I'm after. I don't think it's one of
the more famous pieces you get on the various "best of" albums - it's in a
more minor scale from the sounds of it - instrumental - sort of melancholy
but slightly weird and a little spooky.

If anyone can help with the title of the piece or the actual song itself I'd
appreciate it. At least I'd know I'm not going mad and thinking of the
wrong thing altogether.

TIA

.
