Hi

Just a very very quick note but am running out of time as its so late
here !!! (what's new for me).

I feel I owe everyone (apart from one idiot) a sincere apology having
said what I did earlier in the week when the young chap from Naples
posted about moving to London and I read the first reply he got back.
I was disgusted to be honest, but now realise that's just one small
(very small) person and doesn't mean the rest of this Group is the
same.

I think why I reacted this way was a few months ago I too posted for
the first time (may have been longer, can't remember) saying I
actually came from London and then Jersy and would love to speak to
anyone on the Group if they wanted to post me.

Unfortunately what happended was I got about 3 or 4 terrible
disgusting replies and was not only hurt but quite shocked, so just
gave it away as a bad choice to make, but now I now realise that you
guys are just great (apart from that one idiot mentioned before) so
please accept my sincere apologies if I upset anyone, I now look
forward to posting you (my old country of birth) and receiving posts
back. In particular John of West Ham and Lisa (who is an Aussie
anyway) !!!

Must go am almost falling asleep typing this !!

My sincere best wishes to you all !!

Sorry to hear you're having trouble with Trolls. It is best to ignore
them and NEVER to feed them. You can go to Message - block sender but
usually Trolls have several different names and addresses. I'm
convinced that some even have conversations with themselves. The main
thing is to ignore them. Do you watch English TV programmes in OZ? We
have plenty of yours. When we stayed in Jersey we asked the locals if
they watched 'Bergerac' and they said it was known out there as 'spot
your neighbour.' Gearing up for the world cup - ordering loads of
cockney grub, booze etc. ready for the Cockney knees-up when/if we
win.

Hi John

Thanks for your reply.

I have now trained myself not to reply to the "trolls" you call them but
it's hard not to. (I am still quite a novice to the Internet) !!!

Anyway, I wish you good luck with the football or soccer you love (God I
hate all sports) !!

As for Jersey, must have been an idiot to leave there after 6 years of
paying no tax on anything, but now I have chekced up and you have to have
a Visa to live/work there or have heaps and heaps of money, so I probably
would be quite well off by now if I had stayed, what did I do, went backt
to London and got married and was divorced 4 years later !!!! what a
waste.

Anyway great to hear from someone who had had the courage to move away
from the normality they seem to have to live by.

Please keep in touch, even if I don't like soccer or football !!

Regards

Jan

PS

When is the World Cup Day??? will speak to my Sons about it !!!!
