PS. current league standings. But even if R.Madrid and Valencia end up
level on points, we'll still be above them as we beat them in Valencia
and they could only draw in Madrid. In Spain it doesn't go on goal
difference, but on head-to-head between teams if they have the same
points (if THEN they are still equal, eg 1-1 in both games, then it
goes on goal difference). With 5 matches still to go:

1 Barcelona 73
2 Valencia 62
3 R. Madrid 60
4 Osasuna 59

Interesting system for separating equal pointers in Espagna. I thought
everyone was on goal difference these days. When I was a lad though it
was goal *average* which entailed horrendous calculations with lots of
numbers after the decimal point that the average punter couldn't work
out to save his life. Glad they dropped that one.
