What time of the year is best for searching IT job in London


Hello :
I got a visa and planning to move to London. I have time until March
next year. I was wondering what is the best time to move to UK/London
and search for jobs. I can stay at my own expenses for a while, but I
definitely need to find a job withing a short period of time.

I am getting confusing and contradicting suggestions. Somebody said
that January/February is the best time. Another friend of mine, who had
been in UK for years, commented that market does not pick up until
April, as that is the beginning of the financial year. He advised me to
move to as late as possible in March for that reason.

Any suggestion and insights will be appreciated.

I am looking for IT job in the area of Web (J2EE) technology.
