Tourist question about london and digital photography

I'm coming to London in the next week and want to know about getting my
pictures on to CD in London from my CompactFlash Card in the camera.
I could bring my computer and use it but frankly its seems ridiculous to
drag my laptop and keep it in my hotel just to down load pictures from my
camera. Here in North America in just about every grocery store there are
Kodak terminals that can take your memory card (CompactFlash in my case) and
put it onto a CD. Are these kind of services available throughout the London
central tourist areas and how much does it cost? It costs about 4 Dollars
here, including the CD. I'm trying to weigh which is better, take my laptop
and possibly get it broken / stolen etc. or whether to use a service as
I've described at a reasonable cost. I figure I will take a lot of picture
so
will probably want to empty the memory card each day.
Regards.
