At the beginning right after 911 bush had to insert large amounts
finecash
to keep everything going ,once the economy settled everything was
governmentbasically few problems high GDP s but I must admit too much
..Asspending .Most problems have happened in the last couple of years
keepfar
as
the banks negotiating favorable terms, the banks are in the business
to
make
money and thats what they do if they didn't then there would not be
any
banks
Is that supposed to be a joke? Every business is in business to make
money. The banks though are a special case. If they make money they
boardsit
and pay themselves astronomical salaries and bonuses, if they lose
money,
the government gives them our money to keep them afloat, and they
continue
to pay themselves astronomical salaries and bonuses.
Yep I guess the banks have shareholders these days. they also have
theand chief financial officers all elected .If the CFO performs well the
shareholds and board decide the saleries. and the profits are paid to
butshareholders. Just like other companies. So if thats what you mean by
"they
keep it" then so be it .If the bank looses enough money then they go
broke
and no longer exist, happens all the time .
No it does not. It used to happen, though fortunately not very often,
companies"now when they go broke Bush and Brown throw hundreds of millions of our
money at them to bail them out. They are no longer "like other
theand their shareholders are not calling the shots, the governments and
people,bank bosses are.
There would not be any banks? Are there any? Bear Stearns, Lehmans andbunch
Washington Mutual went broke, the rest, Goldman Sachs ( the number one
of parasites), Morgan Stanley and all the tiddlers are being kept in
business by us, the general public.
There are thousands of banks all doing business with thousands of
forbelieve it or not even I have a bank account obviously you do not.
You have been quiet about Joe the Plumber? I thought you might haveturned
mentioned him. Or is it that McCain's silver bullet backfired when it
out the Plumber's Union disowned him and he has had an order served
plumbersnon-payment of taxes? What is it about Republicans and plumbers?Thats interesting ,if only you could get your facts straight for once ,
Whenever
they use one it screws up for them :-)
Joe
[I think his real name is Sam at least not Joe] Is about to take
payqualification test so exactly how canthe plumbers union disown him. Who
cares about his taxes. He asked our savior how much he would have to
Obamain
taxes if he bought a plumbing company currently making about $270,000
per
annum . The answer he got from the savior was not to his liking and
Obama'ssaid he wanted to spread the wealth around . That does not go down
very
well here . To day even Obama and Biden are saying on the stump "who
knows a
plumber who makes $250,000 a year ? not many I guess but Joe was asking
about a plumbing company with several plumbers and there are plenty of
those.
If his name is not Joe then you had better tell McCain as he called him
Joe about twenty times in the dual debate and still is.
The Plumbers Union disowned him because he is not a plumber. If I am
training to be a doctor I do not call myself Doctor until I have
qualified. And you may not care "about his taxes" but my guess is
millions of taxpayers who file their returns accurately and pay on time
care very much.
It seems to me that the relevant thing about the entire exchange was
saying "I think that when you spread the wealth around, it's good forthe
everybody".
That gives good insight into precisely what an Obama administration would
attempt to do if they get a majority.
My first brush with "spreading the wealth" occurred when I was in Ashford
General for a couple of weeks at the age of 10. During a visit I received
some sweets which were promptly confiscated and placed into the "spread
wealth" box for distribution to the entire ward.
I didn't like it then and I certainly don't like it now.
Nigel Brooks
Exactly ,but the Obama people are trying to make it all about "joe" rather
than about Obama's response.
