"I" make a decision, "We" take a decision. At least that's how it was when
I was in business. When I went through my "management team" phase (it
lasted about a month) the "team" met and "took" decisions. Usually the
wrong ones. So I dumped the "we" and went back to "I". I couldn't live
with people "taking" decisions on my behalf with my money. Still can't!
lol

Ah, now that's interesting - was never told that at grammar school...it does
make more sense that way - but I still think its got a bit of "buzzword
bull***" about it - the goliath business leaders, not waiting to make
decisions, they TAKE them, like a...a...man being a MAN.

Rar.

You may have something there. Making/Taking decisions is kinda macho. I'm amused by the consultants at seminars who advise young innocents that making any decision is better than not making one. They forget to say that these days if you make the wrong one you are likely to get fired. Everyone is covering their arses, look at banks, everything is referred to "Head Office". Nobody is allowed to make a decision.
In reality, I find you have to make few decisions in business or personal life. On the few occasions you do if the answer doesn't stare you in the face then ignore it, it will likely go away and be replaced by something more important. Whatever you do, do not make a decision based on a "matter of principle". A recipe for disaster.
