Anyone out there got a genuine Panama Hat?

I almost bought one in Greece but at 150 euro it was not perfect so backed
out.

It is a fascinating subject and I have been researching Panama Hats fore
some time now.

Any anal thoughts about hats in general ?

I bought one from a posh hatters in Cambridge some years ago. I found that
on windy days I spent a lot of time chasing it. Last year after it gathering
dust for many years it went to a charity shop. Now I wear a silly looking
sun hat that I bought in a NYC subway station shop for three Bucks.My wife
soon pointed out that the only other people wearing that type of hat were
the Black Guys who hang around the streets. Guess that I now have street
cred Bro.
