Let's see how many they'll be by the end of the week.
To recap - the two most publicised ones this week so far:
HIPs (Home Information Packs) "delayed" introduction.
Road Usage Tax (didn't we all belly-ache the government a few months back
with headlines all over the tabloids and in-depth analysis by the former
broadsheets - is it just me or was there a big kerfuffle after which they
decided to scrap the idea?).
How condescending and sneering this government has become as the years
have gone by.
They introduce an idea, it gets flattened by everyone, then they resurrect
it a few months later, having formulated a tactic to get the idea
implemented based on close analysis of the points raised and after
subsequent statistics have been gathered to fob us off with.
How can we honestly put up with this slippery government for much longer?
Humans and power... just don't mix. A nice big salary for the honourable
members was supposed to attract the cream. Instead we've go the biggest lot
of talentless, weasly spongers you could ever get together in one place.
Get rid of them all and replace them with a thoroughly modern electronic
alternative so we can all take part. As everyone has now worked out that
they have absolutely no power whatsoever and their vote is meaningless, its
the only way to stop these snakes playing the system.
You've forgotten to mention that they've just decided to exclude their
sleazy expenses arrangments that have basically seen the taxpayer buying
them a second home in profitable London from the things we can demand to see
under the freedom of information act. What a sorry bunch of freeloaders and
dimwitted spongers.
