Classic case in point - it's actually wrong.

Well, either it is, or quantum theory is. General relativity & quantum
theory, both of which supposedly underpin the working of the universe are
mutually exclusive. Although both are generally accepted to be true, and for
all practical purposes they work well enough, one is wrong. Opinion is
varied as to which one.
