That is so very true... the problem is also that this type of unhealthy food
is not very expencive (unfortunately), so people with little ressourses
moneywise tend to eat this very unhealthy food, and their health are poor
and their children in alot af cases are underachievers, have behavioural
problems etc.... ofcourse the food isn't the only factor here, it has to do
with social factors, socioeconomic factors etc etc... but good eating could
help these children and their parents quite a bit.

When I lived in Halifax, I lived with this familiy who realy didn't have
much money. Their diet consisted of mainly, eggs and chips and lots of white
bread, chips and beans, chip butty, and more ore less chips, white bread and
beans with everything. The occanitional sunday dinner with yorkshire pud's
were lovely though :-D

They bought potatoes, cut them up and deep fried them!!!!! What a waste of
good vitamins and food... you kill everything in the deep frier, and you add
a big amount of fat to your diet as well....
