Over the centuries organised religion has been responsible for far more wars, killing, torture, degradation and human suffering than all the worlds dictators put together. <<<<<<<
A man who follows Jesus' teaching does as Jesus does, he does not kill,
torture, deliberately harm, cause suffering etc...Therefore a man who
does these things is not a Christian and your comments does not apply
to practicing Christian's. As we cannot chose who stands in His crowd
we cannot shield ourselves from being judged as we can be by those who
misunderstand what following Jesus means. Nor can we judge others for
their grave misunderstandings of what it means to be a follower of
Christ, we can only love them as Jesus taught us to do.
If you accepted Jesus into your life as Phillip has, then you could
truly know the way to guide those 'you believe' to be His followers to
walk in His foot steps. I don't suppose Phillip has gone blindly into
his days of persecution for Christ, because The Lord's Salvation is
greater than all things here on earth.
