Can anyone please confirm what is going on with the roadworks on Eastern
Road/Velder Avenue? It seems that the council are reducing lane width
(again) in a way that will ensure that buses stopping will prevent cars
passing, ensuring that no-one can drive faster than the bus.
It seems a raw deal for those of us that neither work in the city nor work
near a place with a bus stop. Class action against the council for
increasing congestion and pollution, anyone?
