Oh no, Portsmouth City Council strike again, they are trying to make
the white marked 'disabled' parking bays into enforceable bays.
This means that when you get home after a long day at work and your
road is full of parked cars, you can no longer park in your disabled
neighbour's 'bay', even though they haven't had a car in the last 2
years.
'If' that space was specificcaly done for your neighbour at his/her request
and he/she has not had a car for 2 years, I would have thought your best bet
is to contact PCC Highways Dept and ask them to black out the disabled
writings, BUT, is this a convenient place for other disabled drivers to use
for the Post Office for example?
