Somebody is cross posting these things all over the UK network. I'm
not sure how it's done, as there doesn't seem to be any one source for
all this, but it is a pain in the fundament.

Someone is posting and replying in other newsgroups and setting the
"Followup-To" field to this, and other, groups. Then when anyone
replies to the original post the replies are copied to this group,
without the original post.

I expect they will grow out of it soon.
