I read this already. Whilst there is clearly no justification for
the attack what does it say about the owner that he/she let the dog
out every morning to wander about the streets and come back half an
hour later every morning? If they actually cared for the dog
wouldn't they have been taking it for a walk rather than leaving it
to wander amongst the neds and the traffic? An unjustified and
horrific incident but one which the owner must bear some
responsibility for.
Absolutely right there blackie. Why commit to the resposibility of
looking after a pet if you're just going to turn it out on the streets
for, in this case, a bunch of sick bastards to abuse.
I came in here as distraction from the grief of having to have my daft
dog put to sleep yesterday.
He was such a fantastic family dog before and after sorting out the
power struggle with him that I posted about on here a few years ago.
Life will never be the same for me and my family without my best pal
in this world.
Sorry to hear that, Doug :(
My boss has been told his dog has a tumour. Don't know if it's cancerous.
He's been a wreck for weeks.
Sorry to hear about your dog Doug. Hopefully he didn't suffer long. :-(
On another note, will you get another one? I got a wee pup last November
and it's amazing all the things you forget pups get up to!
Broke his knee about 6 weeks ago. Silly me never had insurance so £800
lighter after needing a specialist surgeon to repair it. The wee ***
hasn't stopped bouncing about since the operation!! He's meant to rest
all the time with 4 10 minute walks a day!!
