I see that anyone can browse through the validated accounts and see someone elses addy.
This IMO kinda defeats the purpose a bit.
okay you are basically allowing a whole ng to check out your addy when you put your link in
the sig, but say someone from a ng *I* visit sees my sig on their ng. They can then go into
emailer.co.uk and browse the other addys there, seeing folk from all sorts of ng's addy.

Not 100% sure what you mean by that - but the search option will allow
people to type in 'biz' for example and the search results would bring
up your addy .

Clicking on the addy would mean the 5 digit code would still need to be
typed in before the email address is viewable .

Danny and I both post to a certain other NG.
Lets say *I* want folk on *Here* to be able to contact me, but not from the other NG.
And Danny wants folk from the *other* NG to see his contact details, but not folk from *here*.
If we use emailer links in our sigs, then it leaves us both open to be browsed by folk from
*both* NGs

Its possible i could allow users to make the account hidden and only
availabile if a user does click on the addy provided by the user - but
wouldnt all somebody need to do is google group search to find out what
other newsgroups you are in and in turn could find your addy that way .

Oh and btw - could you send me a password reminder - another wee feature that could be
usefull.

I'll add a option later that will allow you to send a password reminded
to the stored email address .

The option will be next to the 'edit this account' link at the bottom of
the page when viewing your details and and you will need to type in
another 5 digit code .
