New Bearpup...and Digital Camera

I have had a Brand New Border Collie Bearpup in the hoose for the past 48
hours.

:o) :o) :o)
Is it just me or is this bloomin camera I got for xmas getting through a
quite unfeasible amount of battery power??? Is this normal?
Last few hours, this camera has got through two sets of batteries. Pictures
have been took and immediately downloaded onto puter and cleared off camera.
(total digital camera novice here, so no terribly technical answers please!)
Goodmans G-shot 3027 TFT. Anyone know of any reviews of this sort of thing?
