Anybody been in the Dumbarton/Loch Lomond area in the past few weeks
and spotted these funny looking things?We saw them near the Balloch
Hotel at the weekend and I'm not even entirely sure it is a pink
footed goose. There are at least three of them, with pink feet, but a
red stripe along the eye (like Adam Ant). We searched the net for ages
trying to find out what they were but that's the best I could come up
with. My uncle saw one at the quay in Dumbarton and said there was a
mention in the local papers about them but I missed it. Curious
looking things, never seen anything like it before. Just wondered if
anyone else had seen them.

Yeah but with a really distinctive red stripe across the eyes. Funny
looking things. They did have pink legs though which makes me think
that's it but I can't find a pic online that looks exactly like the
wee dudes we saw.
