Wonder what happened to the "flotilla of historical craft from the North
East Maritime Trust" that was promised?

Nice set of photographs - you must have been scuttling along the Tyne
to get them <G>.
Makes me wonder how the Skipper could see to steer the ship with so
many bodies (100+) on the deck in front of the wheelhouse!
Of course aint it a shame that a Tall Ship from the Netherlands had to
be brought in to perform the duties - haven't we Brits got one that
could have done the job?
As to the historical craft - no idea why they didn't feature but most
of them (fishing vessels) can be seen at St Peters Marina.
