Hello to everyone interested in the red cranes at Swan Hunter. I am one of
three engineers, planning the dis-assembly of the red cranes. My role
amongst other things is to specify all the cranes used, where they are
positioned for each lift and what configuration they are to be set up in.
The machine you called the mother of all cranes is a Kobelco SL6000 crawler
crane and it has a maximum capacity of 550 tonnes.
