Tunnel under the toon

Hi all, I watched local news this evening about this tunnel under the toon.
Apparently there are plans afoot to turn this into a tourist attraction. As
much as I am in favour of anything for a positive image I am at a loss as to
how they can possibly turn this into a tourist attraction. I mean it is
apparently about 2 miles long, so walking the full length will probably be
out and I can't see how going a few hundred yards into the tunnel is going
to ellicit much excitment.
