Looking at the excellent photographs in tonight's Newcastle Evening
Chronicle, it looks very doubtful as to whether the building will
continue to stand - just a shell without any guts left!

today's short reports have stated clearly that it's now unsafe and a
detailed examination won't take place til Monday at least, but that
prognosis is not good
