Had a look in 'the Laing' again today and everything I said earlier still
applies.
However I see the point made earlier about the Damian Hurst in the entrance
hall. Further to this there is a modernist exhibition beyond the Victorian
room. If I tell you that one exhibit consists of replica elephant turds on
a cotton *** then you will understand that it's a bit weird and should be
in the Baltic where nobody will see it :o)
There is a good display in the Watercolour Gallery including some local
views.
