I am a British Gas customer. I am also a Centrica (the company that

British Gas) shareholder (only a few shares). I am also an old

pensioner"? The annual dividend is better than a kick up the
proverbial
but wouldn't quite pay for a round of drinks on a Friday lunchtime.

That Gas advert was almost as daft as the pratt on radio this morning,
telling us that if we only normally drive small distances, only half fill
the petrol tank! When you think how many local petrol stations have
closed,
we`ll waste far more by driving miles to half-fill our tanks twice as
often!

Filled up our Focus this morning - £44!!! Jeepers! I`m not actually in
Essex, but I can wave to you across the river - and my grandfather worked in
Chelmsford, so I just about qualify!
