Rrrready for the standing for the first week (and a bit) in July:

In joint tenth place are Paul, who is busy doling out ill-advised
compassion and commonsense, and the Delivery Boy, who is sitting amidst
the heather somewhere, watching the capercaillies scampering by. A great
number eight for Al, back from his wanderings and recovering from the
intense heat in a not-so-soggy Satsuma by posting a few more than
recently hot on the heels of this week's rising star at number 7, none
other than the come-back-kid, Kezzi! Three points ahead of him is
not-so-sleepy sleepy,effortlessly rising up the charts, and not seeming
to care. He's just behind jpinny, whose position has been diluted by her
well-meaning but uninformed chief technical officer who helped her set
up a new uklc account and used the proper geeky dead-end email instead
of my real throwaway one. That is about to change, and so may jpinny's
rank, especially at this time of the year when business and email is
slow. At number 4 is Lou, who takes time out of his busy day to inform,
educate and entertain us in his unique and charming style.  Thankyou for
encouraging this competition and my genuinely meant complimentary
remarks with his generous gifts (or not).

And now the final three (trumpet fanfare)

In third place, the Ladies' Morris Dancing champion of UKLC and flikr,
that Caledonian Queen of Cumbria on usenet, it's last month's champion,
ally!

In just ahead by a few posts, evidently less than too busy to post this
month, let's hear it for the current runner-up,  the Canadian Chemist,
live from his Laboratory in Canada, Johnny!

Huge drum roll.

But, with an enormous majority, 36 posts ahead of Johnny, at 154
already, it is still that idefatigable Norwegian, late of Salterbeck and
the Verandah, Edith!
