I'm trying to make some biscuits. I don't know how to, so I've mixed some water, milk, dry porridge, sugar, two teaspoons of
baking powder, some plain flower and a little salt in a bowl and I'm mixing it all together. I've greezed two flat things and
powdered them with flour.

Should I put something else in the mixture? egg or something. I'd like them to come out flat and crispy. Oven on 175.

You need some fat - either butter, margarine or lard. Use about the same weight of flour to fat; add some sugar to taste; some
liquid (milk will be ok) to make a mixture that you can roll out, and it should turn out edible. But without the fat it won't
work. You don't need eggs for biscuits. Keep them for cakes. You can look up recipes on the internet you know! Haven't you heard
of the internet? It's very useful.

Thank you. I used margarine. Honest, they taste good. I'm a blooming success. RECIPES? ME? Not on yer Nellie, Ælly.
