My car battery is flat. I forgot to turn the heat off the back window, so
I'm stuck on the hill until I get it in order. The road looks like a
skating
ring. I've noticed cars are driving slowly by today.
The bulb in the bathroom has gone, I fell asleep in the sofa with chewing
gum in my mouth and awoke with my foot stuck to the sofa :0( It's one of
those days, I think.

Jeez Editz!! Any good news while you're at it? And you know what your
Mam would say about laying down with chewing gum in your mouth. Don't
do it! You'll hiccup and swallow it and that will be you turning blue
and not doing much else beyond that.
I hope they've got chewing gum in heaven.
Thankyou for your card. It was the first one I got. I've hd it pinned
up in my kitchen on the noticeboard since it arrived. Y'know what. I
may just reply to it any day now.

The bad news is, you could get writers' cramp :0)
The good news is, Orly bought me a new battery for my car for Christmas. Now
that's a present I can really appreciate being stuck up on the hill for
several days.
You are welcome dearie. If you reply, please remember, I've moved and have a
new address now. I left Horten to fend for itself.
Nuss! Edith.
