It may just be that she's discovered a source of Whiskas.
This one here brings me mice and birds, and then miaows
to be fed - like I'm running an exchange program.
The trouble with mice is, they don't have gravy or jelly.

If she's found someone to feed her, they must have kidnapped her and
prevented her from going out again. She wouldn't abandon her brother, even
if she'd abandon her humans. He's looking sort of lost and sad without her,
although, being a cat, he's just getting on with life.
