You do seem to be getting the full force of the gales today. The BBC
news mentioned the M6 was closed from junction 36 to 44! They also
forecast 10cm of snow for you . I bet it's wonderful on top of Shap
this mornin. Have a good day up there. I wonder if any wind turbines
will bend this time? We have gales but nothing like you are getting .
It hasn't even blown our empty dustbin over yet.

Sounds familiar. We had high winds yesterday (50 kph) with a flash freeze.
Everything is now frozen solid. Tomorrow we're expecting 20 cm on top of
all the ice.
