Yep, not surprised. We have had 24mm on the 27th and 25mm today (28th). I
expect these readings might be a little low due to the wind and location
of the rain gauge. This is about 2" of rain but over 48hrs, not an
exceptional amount. In Jan 2005, when there was the severe flooding, we
got around 4" in 24hrs...
Currently there are 3 Flood Warnings out, ie you are about to be flooded.
All for the normal places that flood, they have a name for such places
"flood plains"...
