Well we have remarkable colours this year. A banner year indeed. I
have tried to capture a bit of it with my camera but not very
sucessfully.

Our past two days have been remarkable. Sunshine, blue skies, 24C. SW
wind so we can thank Al for sending their weather all the way up here
I guess.

As I said, there's some fantastic scenes around town and the surrounding
environs but these are shots from around here. And the one of the golden
maple is very disappointing. It was much more vivid in real life. Oranges,
yellows and golds all glowing. Didn't come through in the photo.

They're never as good as they are in real life, but your photos at least
give a good impression of it. I think you have different trees over there.
I've never seen colours as intense as that in Britain.

Mind you, the beech trees in Glen Lyon in October take some beating....
