Morning Al. We were about, but too busy to turn on the PC. Erica is in
the studio, potting. I 've been gardening and doing some editing of a
book I am publishing for a friend. The weather is iffy. The Norwegian
witch has done her sun dance but the clouds are heavy and black and I
doubt we will stay dry for much longer. This morning it's off to the
Exton village fair at 8.30am.
Well when I saw the rain first thing I thought, "Hurrah! This means Rex
will be having a sunny day!" but now the rain has cleared and the sun is
shining, and I've hung three pairs of newly-washed jeans on the washing
line. I hope the sunshine is covering the whole country, even as far south
as Rutland, and I also hope it continues like this until we've danced at
Buttermere this evening.
We have just returned from Exton. It did rain on and off, and there was a
very cold wind. The fair was down on last year because of the forecast but
it was still enjoyable. We didn't stay for the wet Morris Men or the damp
maypole dancers. We are now enjoying a cup of tea and a well earned sit
down. I do hope your fine weather stays until after your dancing session.
Edith can whistle for that chocolate cake, she didn't deliver the goods
today.
Rex.
