The district nurse can work it all out before you're two years old. But
mostly, the matter of being under 5'8" has to do with being a girl.

My best friend's sister emigrated to Toronto when she got married in the
late 60s, and had 2 daughters there. Neither she nor her husband is above
average in height, and the rest of the family who remained in Scotland are
quite normal (heightwise, anyway...). But the 2 girls born in Canada are
both over 6 ft. It's quite astonishing. Apparently they weren't unusual
among the kids at their school either. Is this normal in Canada, Johnny?

Maybe we are all like goldfish. The bigger the bowl the bigger they get-not
to mention what Orly says to me when I don't recognize a place where we have
been lots of times. He says I'm like a goldfish-one swim around the bowl and
they forget they've been there and are in completely new territory.

Vestfold isn't big.
