I've been affected by roads being closed due to snow, but hadn't heard of the tiered emergency systems and how they relate to snowy conditions. ... Re: Snow and modern 4x4s - dummies question ... They cannot fly - so if the road is blocked by other cars they are ... stop them getting stuck and reduce the chances of skidding through excess ... Some of the drivers will fail to realise that just because they can go ... the worst thing about 4WDs in snow is that some drivers think somehow ... (uk.rec.cars.misc)
