I never thought of heated jets. Don't know any cars in my price
range that have them.
Windshield washer fluid is essentially methanol-water. So a
chemical reference book like HCP would tell you that you need 15
weight percent to get -10C. Around here most are -40C which is
around 42% methanol. They probably add a drop of this or that to
the stuff to make it coloured and to make it less streaky. In
your area, 30% would probably meet all conditions (-26C).
They sell the washer fluid so cheaply that it is probably the
cheapest way to buy methnol!
