I also like the way the City Council is utterly shameless in its promotion
of 'christmas', it isnt 'seasons greetings' or 'winterval', or 'festive
season' like many councils, too frightened by those who claim to represent
upperty minority groups, in case of offending.
Interesting that Allerdale refers to its 'winter lights' not 'christmas
lights'.
