Re: Any snow today?

Snow on the fells now. Here's some pix I took on my way into Cockermouth
this afternoon, showing the snow line on the fells quite clearly:

Photos 2 & 3 were taken from the Maryport-Cockermouth road just after the
turn-off from Dearham, and at the top of the slope that leads down to
Dovenby. The first one is fairly obvious as the sign for Papcastle can be
seen. Quality isn't brilliant as the sun was about setting by this time, but
I thought some people might find them interesting.

The Scottish hills are looking very white indeed. If the sun's shining
tomorrow morning I'll try pointing a zoom lens in their direction.
