Sigh... the recorder still has this bad image. Of course young kids play it
with squeaks and squawks - they're not very good at that age. They sound
pretty awful when they're learning the violin too, yet somehow people still
manage to take the violin seriously. We take the recorder seriously. If I
could just let you hear what we sound like... actually, I'm sure I've got
software nowadays that'll take a CD track and turn it into an mp3... I'll
get back to you...
