I have a thing for fresh blueberries. Up in northern Ontario,
the only thing bigger than the mosquitoes are the wild
blueberries - an average of an inch around!
Down east in Nova Scotia, they are normal size (1/4" - 3/8") and
great tasting. I have an aunt down there that no one else would
ever visit because she was a bit of a, well lets just say people
didn't enjoy her company. But she could bake blueberries
desserts to die for and she would bake me all sorts of things
whenever I came to town. She's got Alzhiemers now and those days
are over.
My property down there has a lot of blueberries on it. But the
season will be over by the time I get there next week.
