I'm with you on the vinegar and salt - epsecially pickled onion vinegar.
No, Erica didn't work in cotton. but her father's family came from th e
Manchester area and many of them worked in the silk industry, a generation
or so ago.
Erica was actually born in lincolnshire, as was I.
