I used to be a commuter from Falmouth to Wadebridge going via Truro in
the
morning. A lot of people do travel into work in Truro and it has its
usual
bottlenecks, but it isnt that bad. Now going to Wadebridge during
Cornwall
show, now thats the one thats the bugger!
I dont think commuter traffic is ever going to get to be as it is up
country, but i think its always best to get on the road before the
tourists
bless em!
Lloyd (now in Leeds which has a little worse traffic for commuting!)
Thanks Lloyd - much as I thought. Bet Leeds is a bit of shock after
Wadebridge?
Andrew
HI Andrew
To be completely honest with you not too much of a shock, although I do miss
waking up to views of countryside.
Mum and dad still down in Falmouth, and so we endure the tourist traffic
every 6 weeks which i think has come of even more of a shock, as when you
live in Cornwall you dont realise what a pain it is to get in and out of,
look forward to the new roads being finished!
But has to be said dont miss working in Wadebridge, too many dodgy people on
the make there, Falmouth seems a bit more hussle and bussle and thriving
which is always good to see.
So is it the temptation of a new job making you ask the commuting question?
Lloyd
