TalkTalk - Now Cold Calling!

Just as the energy companies are ending doorstep cold-calling, due to
the appalling history of mis-selling, so Talk Talk have taken up this
annoying practice.

A 22 year old turned up at our door today with, "do you want free
broadband?". Who are you?" we asked (though we could see the words
TalkTalk written on something plastic hanging on a chain around his
neck). "No thank you". "What! he said, "You don't want free
broadband?". NO ...goodbye!. He made an indginant gesture and with
a shake of his head, walked off muttering words of disbelief - exactly
the response you would expect from a company we had no intention of
ever dealing with.

Get ready for a knock on your door from TalkTalk, so you can plan your
response in advance.
